After leaving Eastern North Dakota, we stopped at the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Due to rain and flooding, we could only see part of the park. We passed a large group[ of bison who blocked our path on the way to expore the park. When we returned, we stopped at the visitors center. The bison came to the center and proceeded to encircle it and lie down all over the area preventing us leaving. After an hour we decided to slowly leave and they blocked our path. You can't move or rush bison. We had to wait until there was a gap then slowly leave.
A very interesting and mighty 'show' however. By this image you were rewarded by your patience.
