Seen at Oshkosh, WI in 2013, this airplane flew very well. It needed some variances in DOT and FAA regulations to go into production. Before they could make all the changes the company was sold to a Chinese firm. The FAA did finally approve it.

So this isn't your commute, Ted? I thought for sure that if a former USAF pilot was gonna have a unique vehicle, well... Come to think of it, when you visited I seem to recall a four-door car, and no wings. This is a cool collage, showing us the plane in various modes of readiness and use, but I'm not sure I want to fly, though, in a car with a pilot with the name "Experi Mental". Sounds unstable... and I know unstable.
