A very good action shot of this old timer in the world of jet fighters, Ted.
I'm curious whether there are still F-86s flying around.

The clarity of your plane and jet photos, Ted, always brings to mind the variety of Revell models that I used to put together and display on my shelves as a boy. Yours look like my models, in that they seem to be able to leap directly to life. That is the mark of someone who not only knows their equipment well, but also their subjects. My plane photos are usually just so-so, but one day about five years ago I was in the middle of a lake, paddling my kayak, and managed to get a number of top-drawer captures of a bright yellow crop duster. In fact, I believe he had first noticed me in the creek, shooting photos of him as he worked adjoining fields, and later flew directly down and toward me on the lake, numerous times, as though he was posing for me (no crops to dust out there, ya know). Good enough to read his numbers and track him down to his business. Using email I offered to send him a few 8x10s of him and his plane but he never answered. Considering how the pilots are clearly visible in so many of your photos, have you ever tried that?
