I arrived late in the afternoon and the sun was low on the horizon. This is not the best photo I wanted, but still nice.

This has the feel of a vintage postcard. Composition is great and although not much sky, the mountains are massive.

A little extra saturation with some software may help it look a little more like what you were looking for.

So massive and gorgeous. My daughter walked in just now and she loves it. I do too.

Ted, I join me in the above comment of Chris when it comes to the saturation, but in fact it's a superfluous remark of mine because you've already said in your narrative that it's not the best photo.
Taking this into account, it's a splendid and breathtaking image to me however!

Yeah, a little washed, but still definitely descriptive of the scope and depth of the place. The beauty as well, with all those colors as evidence. Sometimes, even the ones we shoot that we don't favor still work.
