While driving I spotted this possible photo opt. Since there was no traffic I pointed the 40D with the 40mm pancake lens attached out the window, and fired away.
Not the safest thing to do, but there was no traffic, and I was on a back road cruising along at 45 mph. :)

Oh, yeah, every time I go out shooting, if I see a cloud formation that has a specific light source or character, I start shooting clouds, building up a bank of them in case I need to replace an ugly sky with a good one. It can turn a so-so photo into something dramatic and, if done right, the photo can look like it was that way all along. -Nik

This is a lovely sky photography and I don't know about being in a car it looks like you was up the in the sky .Great looking colours and very nicely balanced white clouds as well plus no noise in this photo as well.10/10
