This was taken with the Nikkor 80-400mm VR lens with the Nikon D500.

F.Length 350mm / Aperture f/5.6 / Spot Metering / Shutter Speed 1/2500s / ISO 2500.

I did brush in some detail using On 1 Photo Raw.

Other than that I just cropped, and resized this one.

I appreciate your comments, thank you.

The end result is quite good. You managed a clear shot of the hummingbird with wings open and no blurring with that shutter speed. Good one Sandi.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Dorothy Michaels: No, just Dorothy. Alan's always Alan, Tom's always Tom and John's always John. I have a name too. It's Dorothy, capital D-O-R-O-T-H-Y.

A lovely shot Sandi and a wonderful capture of the bird in flight. It does seem a tad too bright to me so some of the detail on the bird and flowers is lost.

A terrific capture, Sandi, but it seems a bit overly lit, so I pulled a copy off and tweaked it a little in Photoshop. A deepening of the shadows and highlights, plus a smidgin in the mid-tones brought more depth to it. It's now on my desktop, thank you.

Everything coordinates...the bird and the flowers. I also like the delicate and airy feeling from the natural coloring.
