My first of several shots I took yesterday. We visit this lovely lake side town once a year to celebrate a friends birthday.
It makes a long day for us, but we love going up there, and what beautiful weather we had.
I used the Nikon D750 with the Nikkor 24-120mm lens.

Ahhh, I see a lighthouse on the far left. We visited Michigan in 2001 and loved it so any place that includes a lighthouse... I'm there.

I also am very fond of Grand Haven and this beautiful walkway by the water is a real treasure - well captured.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.
I really like diagonals in an image and this has a bunch. It's almost a textbook lesson on perspective and parallel lines converging towards a vanishing point. A worthy addition to a body of art & science going back centuries. Take a bow. (Do a search for 'one point perspective' and you'll see how well this picture fits the definition. Pinterest has some good examples too).

Sandi, think you aren't amazed that I could sit there 'some' time to enjoy the exuded atmosphere, because water is attracting to me still as iron to a magnet, ☺.
