Shot this again through the window, and it was snowing at the time.

This is my first pic. that I edited on my new pc equipment, and I doubt that I will miss things now when I edit.

Now I'm in the process of getting programs put back on. :)

I appreciate your comments, and your help. Thank you!

Nice and clear shot of woody with good details Sandi. A desktop PC is more comfortable to work on than a laptop.

I think this is terrific Sandi - I can even tell there is snow in the background - I think you'll love working on that large monitor.

It looks great Tigz. You and the new monitor will work well together. I think you should do a calendar with these photos.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

You're doing great with these bird shots and all the better you can stay inside and keep warm...lovely bird and capture, SAS.

You did extremely well in capturing a predominantly white bird with the white background Sandi. Good thing it had some black to outline it.

I'm finding myself becoming a bit of a broken record, concerning these bird photos of yours. One after another I keep seeing rich details in the fine feathers, in strong contrasts--black and white in this woodpecker--,and the absolutely necessary curved eye shine spot that makes the bird come alive, ready to fly right off my screen. bd bd bd (six thumbs up... my border collies and me).
