Simply gorgeous - the muted background is a perfect foil for the beauty of the lily - top notch Sandi !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I agree with Lyn, the background makes this special, soothing but stunning scene. Excellent work!

This is a real beauty and well worth photographing. You did a good job of it too.

Beautiful capture, I agree with the others, it's the background that really brings out the lily. Great job!

I also agree the background really sets off this simple but lovely lily.

Wonderful presentation Tigz. The background and the flower look great together.

I agree about the background...something darker or brighter would detract from the quiet elegance you've presented here...superb capture of this beauty, SAS.

Another nice singular floral posting!...like your previous single bloom this a good one to. Good selective focus.

It appears to be trumpeting the start of Spring. A very pleasing composition with the accompanying bokeh helping to set it off.

Think I would have cloned out the green leaf in the bottom/left part of your, anyhow splendid, image, Sandi, in order to qualify it fully as a perfect 'selective coloring' result.
But of course the choice is up to you and not to me. I respect fully your decision, my friend! (so ignore my 'advice, ☺ )
The above 'tiny remark' won't prevent me for F&S this subtle artwork.
Thanks for that!
