I was hoping to see these beautiful birds again this year, and yesterday I had lots of activity of several of them. You don't need special Oriole food to attract them. They like the hummingbird feeders also. I use a mix of 1C sugar, to 4C water. Does not need heated just stir and serve! :)

Thanks for your comments, not sure if you would call it a foofy, but this is my post for the day.

Lovely colors and very sharp details on the bird. Very nice shot Sandi.

Beautiful shot of the oriole Tigs - he looks great perched on that tree - the red leaves add a nice contrast to his color - Great Capture!!!!!!!!!

This capture is so gentle, colors amid these lovely branches, the bird is in a perfect place for a snapshot. Excellent and favorite.

Sandi, please serve me this mouth-watering drink as well, and I'll do an attempt to pose on a branch for you too, ☺ ☺ ☺ .
The result my be pretty disappointing, because I'm not that handsome like this Oriole bird.
Wonderful composition. The colors (of the bird versus the subtle colors of the background) are striking!
Thanks for sharing this beautiful one, my friend!

Excellent photography, Sandi. The Oriole and small red-leaved branch to his left are in perfect focus--giving us all the detail we need--with emphasis on just those two. (The fact that we are seeing both eyes of the Oriole, from below like this, is a bonus.) I like your pano effect and particularly the way that everything else appears to make a slow-motion move from slightly out-of-focus to lovely bokeh. I'm keeping this one.

I am glad you were finally able to get a shot of one of these guys. Getting that right shot of a bird is always satisfying.
