This lovely I found at my favorite garden.
I want to let you know that I will be on vacation starting tomorrow through Saturday the 26th. I'm heading to Michigan tomorrow to visit my buddy Stylo, and his wife Pam, this is my yearly visit with them.
I won't be posting, but the laptop is already packed, and I will comment as long as the internet allows it. I'm staying at different cottage, and have been looking forward to some time away.

Not too much wash of sunlight on the petals but still enough for a sharp shadow from the stamen. The offset composition and the inclusion of a few tack-sharp leaves provides a perfect focal point for our attention, while the bokeh in the center and left is soft enough to allow the flower to reign in this image, the bokeh is not so soft as to make the shapes back there unidentifiable. So many of your foofs are more art than simply photos, Sandi. Was it you that told me you had no post high-school art education? If so, it's hard to believe.
