This lighthouse is located in the beautiful state park on the north side of Lundington. We had a 1.75 mile walk to it, and this one I thought would be a cool click of the camera on our approach to it.

We did make the climb, and this was the second lighthouse I have taken to the top,and this one has outstanding views since it's adjacent to the park.

Just a note that I'm leaving tomorrow for the U.P. once again.

My friend Jackie has a B&B, and a 2 bedroom cabin, and also a 3 bedroom trailer that are rentals. She always lets me stay for free, so it's a pretty inexpensive trip for me, I stay at the B&B. Even better yet I drive 4 hours to her dads place in the lower part of the state, stay the night, and then we leave about 9:00 for the 7 hour drive to her place. We share the travel expenses, so it really is cost effective, and I Love the U.P.

I will take the laptop so will be commenting but not posting. I should be back home on the 15th of Oct. I hope i'm not too late for the fall colors up there.

Thank you in advace for your comments.

Very fine lighthouse capture, Sandi.

Lucky you, I wish I had such a friend, 😁 .
Wish you a good stay at the U.P.
Don't worry about the fall colors, as they are on their top at the end of October/ begin November. It may vary somewhat with the northern hemisphere countries.

I totally agree with you about the U.P., Sandi. It is a beautiful place to visit with a wide variety of sights, from lighthouses to white sand beaches, from waterfalls like Tahquamenon to experiencing a ^pasty^, from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore to horse-and-buggying around Mackinaw Island. But how lucky can you get to have a friend willing to offer you free lodging in a place like that? Wow.

You are most fortunate to have this kind of access Sandi - love it up there and can see why you do as well. I really like the angle on this shot.
