Sorry about the deletion of my other post, but managed a redo of one of my older pictures, in the hope I can enter it in the latest contest. I'll save the other one for another time.
I tried something different, and this is the result.

Whatever you did looks good. The leaf shadows have a certain effect that makes it look better than having no shadows. Good focus and colors.

Sandi, to me this photograph is an excellent example of selective coloring in the reversed mode. It makes this garden angel now the center of attention. This work is eminently suitable as an entry for the 'Still Life' contest.

For still life, Sandi, you can*t get much more still than being made of stone. I*m sure your image will make for a good entry in the contest, with a different interpretation of the theme, which is also good. Good luck in the contest.
