Beautifully capture, Sandi. I think he is trying to get your attention and refill the bird feeder! lol.

Sandi, it seems to me initially that this Jay bird has a kind of sad look in its eyes. However, I can't believe that it's disappointed because your feeder would be empty. This is almost the same impossibility as burning water. So I suppose that it's in a pensive mood now, 😁 !
Wonderful 'bird-portrait' again!

I'm glad you have bluejays. I have not seen a single one since I moved. Nice framing and focus.

Excellent details in this Sandi - I especially noted the details on his beak and feathers.

They sure are gorgeous birds, we have them begging and letting me know they need their peanuts.

Now, if I am reincarnated as a bird next time, I*m guessing this would be me, perched and thinking, *Okay, I landed here for some reason, but what was it? What did I come here for? Jeez Louise, I hate it when that happens!*

-nik (at nearly 70, with a Covid-cooked brain, I do this all the time as a human; most likely would do it as a bird)
