Sandi, I think these cuties aren't gossiping but are talking about the weather, 😁 .
A very cute and pretty rare capture, causing a smile on my face too. hope Perfectly seen and captured!

It does look like those two are engaged in conversation - I think the cutie on the right is asking where Tigs keeps the birdseed - Great Capture!!!!!!!!!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Neat capture, do you suppose it's a Mr. and Mrs. having a chat?

Resilient little boogers, aren*t they? I started housing and feeding house sparrows about 8 years ago, having found that they do not migrate south for the winter (at least mine do not), which utched my son to research them further. It turns out that if you care for a pair, for a season or two, they stay with you, around your home or wherever you are feeding them. Then, as they produce their young, those birds do the same. Over time a local flock can grow considerably. My son calls them my flock and, at a rough count, I would say there are about 50 to 55 of them. I have been doing a lot of landscaping the past few years, and have large patches of bare dirt in the backyard. The flock loves to take dust baths to help keep down mites and such, and sometimes, walking abruptly into the yard, I will often scare up the flock and find myself in a large cluster of frantically fluttering wings. It*s a rather fun experience. Your double capture of them is an excellent capture and visual description of them. Nice stuff, Sandi.
