Well done Robert, I love these timed exposures with the swirls around the rocks. Did you manage to have a couple breakers during this exposure or just the one that I can see building? The color of the sand makes all the difference in this shot compared to others that I have seen. I know you have others, lets see them;-)
I like this very much. I'm big on soft pastels and have never seen these colors in a water shot. Just subtle enough to add the difference and make it a special photo. Well done Robert! ;)
Hi Robert...how nice to find one of your photos on here this morning...and of course since it involved water plus colour...well, it is super lovely to me! The way you have captured the water is really nice....and I think I didnt realize that sand underneath can bring about thse gorgeous hues!...it must have been such fun to watch! Somehow, even if the seas are turbulant they still calm us...Its an awesome photo my friend!!
This is really cool! I like the whole composition, the rocks in the foreground are kind of balanced with the wave in the back. And the colours are just stunning, I have never seen this before...
I generally prefer realtime shots of water, but the longer exposure here creates an intensity that is hard to contain. Excellent composition and color. Frame it and hang it!
"What other reason could there be to get up in the morning except to set ourselves free."
If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
I started making pictures round about march 2006 and then stopped in feb 2007 because I sold my camera to Harm Gunnink who is also a member. I'am now saving money for the sony alhpa a100.
Hope you like the pics
P.S. is it maybe possible if you have time to also give suggestion on how to improove my pictures but compliments are also good!
This is very nice, very much like Winslow Homer's work. Coming from someone who majored in fine art in college, painting hundreds of canvasses, that's high praise.

Thanks for sharing it... I plan to put a copy in my screensaver that's made of about 270 images, all having to do with water.
