Splendid Calendula image, Kathy. Thought at first sight that it was a Dahlia species because of its resemblance, but the leaves didn't match with a Dahlia plant.

I could see Paintbrush Pot as a name, too, Kathy. When I would need just a light touch of a color on a spot on a canvas, I would dip just the very tip of the brush in the paint, and it would look very much like the center area of this flower. Another beautiful capture.
