My first thought was hummingbirds. I have something similar on the south side of my house, a climbing vine, and the only place I have ever seen a hummingbird, and only once. My does not have that unique thing yours have at the end, just petals that fan out like a bell, and the blossoms start red at the stem and finish orange at the bell. I do not know the name but ants are crawling all over them, and their blooming season is almost over. A month ago there were probably a thousand blooming; now there are two clusters of five and six flowers, and nowhere near as packed as yours are.
