This is "Southern Charm" mullein - a perennial with a very long blooming season from late spring to late summer. It also sometimes re-blooms in fall. The blooms may be lavender or light pink or peachy like this one, but they all have deep red hairy center.

Kathy, thanks for another fine capture, this time a capture of one of the Verbascum species.
In my country they both can be find in the open air (as wild flower) and garden centers (as cultivar). I even have seen them in a salty coastal environment. I've never seen the 'Southern Charm' perennial here however.

My guess is that those hairs are great for snagging pollen from the legs and bodies of visiting bees.
