Ice can appear in so many shapes. This one is quite odd. :)

You'll notice that all the "tooth-like" globules of ice are on the downward side of these ice formations? Gravity and short-lived warm air created these shapes. The air was just warm enough to melt a small film of the ice, creating water drops only along the edge of the ice, and then the air slowly cooled again. Air temperature affects the viscosity of water, increasing it as the temperature goes down. That's why these frozen drops are pointed at the ends. Gravity is why they appear only on the downward side of the ice. All of the drops froze again, shortly after they were formed, otherwise we'd see trails of drops that escaped down through the frost on the stone. You have a good eye to notice and capture this unique feature of winter.
