Why do these birds always look so serious?

Hi, Wendell....

He looks serious because he's ticked off at you. He's tired of people taking profile shots when he obviously has a bright sunshiny smile with a full set of new dentures.

Excellent detail. How close did you get to this beauty? Great natural lighting and a perfect blurry background.

Such a wonderfully clear sharp image of this goose's profile, David. I love the water droplets as well.

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Beautiful shot, the swan is wonderful, I like the lovely bird. They are serious because they know that are elegant, pretty and don't have to smile to court us. LOL

The sepia like tones are great. It really brings out the black on the duck.

Beautiful bird and a great shot! I think they look serious due to their black and white color. Very well captured! :)
