Everyone is banned!

Just kidding... We had a corruption of the user's database that caused the "am I banned" field to be set for everyone. This didn't immediately affect everyone at once because of caching in the system. This is why it took me a while to notice myself. I was able to fix it by deleting and reloading the user's database from a recent backup. No data was lost in the process unless you created an account in the last day (very few accounts). Sorry for freaking everyone out!

Yes, it certainly gave many a fright. We do have a system of communication beyond the website, so many were aware there was a problem and not just for them alone. Glad it is now fixed.

It really caught me by surprise too but I knew it had to be some type of error or glitch and that 'the all-seeing eye' would be on it before long...many thanks, Geri, for your prompt attention...what would we do without you!
