Thanks for the comments on my picture Bow Wing. If I happen to catch a group of these Herons fishing the shoot is pretty easy. Its more about where to set up for the best lighting and setting up the cameras autofocus system to best match the conditions.

Hi John, Thank you so very much for your kind words and insight into "Light and Shadow"... your words bring back strong memories when I was a child, "passing the bathroom mirror" I can still feel that sensation today. However, I had posted another photo of Alex in the past when he is again looking at his shadow while drinking with a straw from a cup... so I am not sure if because of the similarity that maybe this should not be entered in the contest. Hi John, thanks for viewing the olive grove, yes, we got 100 kilos of olive oil, so this was good for us. The amount of olive oil varies from year to year, but I must admit, gathering it is a lot of work. We have very high quality olive oil since we harvest the olives in a village near Kalamata, which is a good area for olives. Bye for now, Vicki
