Hi Cornelius, sending you a belated but very sincere thanks for visiting my gallery recently, not only to give feedback but to leave such a thoughtful get well message for my mum. I have showed her the comments from all you lovely people and she was overwhelmed by your kindness. Mum is recovering well and we both really appreciate that you took the time to think of us. Love and blessings, Kelcey.
I like how Dutch and French lived side by side on Sint Maarten-Saint Martin in peace for all those years sharing the island. I was on the your Dutch side in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten and found it to be charming and colorful with still a little dutch flavor. Glad I could bring back some pleasant memories of it for you Cornelius
Hello Cornelius
I thought you might like a view of Great Bay, Philipsburg,
On the ship you only spend the day there is too much to see and do, so I would like to spend a week and get to know the island better....hopefully when there are no cruise ships in Port
Hi Cornelius,
thank you for your comment on my pic "Red Boat".

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
Falls Mill #4 Thank you for the complements Cornelius. The atmosphere was heavenly! I am pleased I was able to capture a small piece of it to share.

“Photography, as we all know, is not real at all. It is an illusion of reality with which we create our own private world.” - Arnold Newmantongue?
Thank you Mr C. for your kind comments on Whitby. Regarding the sunshine, I have learnt from your photo's what a difference it makes and so I have you to thank, as your photo's are my inspiration.

"Schooner Bar" was my favorite. The light wood with brass accents and blue chairs in a curving design were tasteful. The seafaring decor featuring model ships, paintings, a brass compasses and wheel. I found the atmosphere very soothing, some other bars and lounges were just too loud and gaudy for my taste Glad you liked it Cornelius!
If those "Petrified Logs" could talk they would have quite a long story over many eons to tell. Yes you are right about the location Mr C (do you really like being called that?) thanks for your insightful comment
A big thank you for the lovely comment on HAPPY THOUGHTS? I do appreciate it so much that you always thake the time to stop and leave a comment. hope you're having a great and wonderful weekend

Marooned On The Moon....Rocks don't seem to be a very popular subject matter, but I am very fond of it myself you just need to view it full screen...trust me it is much more impressive...Thanks for flying to the moon with me
Cornelius!
Thanks for stopping by my tropical pardise of "Watch Tower" Cornelius do have a island drink, relax in a hammock and watch the ocean for a while. Rocks are fine but give me the ocean any day.
It is hard to believe this used to be thick forest full of huge trees when there is not a real tree left,, The Old Giant is one of the last reminders of the long ago forest. Thank you for your thoughtful note Cornelius
You are not alone Cornelius "Pretty in Pink" it is a different type of scenery for me too, I live in the Southeast part of the United States which is green and lush
It may seem barren and bleak but has a special beauty and a mystical feeling to it....Thank You so much

Hi Mr C
Thanx for the comment on Ivory Carrier. I am glad you liked it. With ellies in the wild, it's always a riks, cos they can anytime decide to attack, but one learn to "read" their behaviour, and you should never take chances if it looks as if they are even a little bit restless. Usually one should try to give them 20 - 30m space between elephant and vehicle. This one though, was only a few meters (10 m max) from the car, so I could get this shot. It's been sitting in my not-so-good file for quite a while, and when I was looking to post something today, it popped up, almost asked to be posted.. so i did. and i'm glad you enjoyed it and hope that other people will too. Thanx again for stopping by!! Have a lovely weekend

Hey Cornelius...thanks, as always, for commenting on my first shot from Acadia. It was a sunset for that particular spot...although I did manage to get up early enough for a sunrise twice on the vacation (that's quite an accomplishment for me I must say!) I lucked out with some great weather most of the week, so I've got a ton of shots to share from the Park.
Greetings Mr Sea. I understand what you mean about the similarity in the scenes from our countries having had a look at your gallery. Thank you for your kind comments on my Swan Pond photo , I do appreciate it. Tom
Sorry I didn't give any information about Lake Lure in Rumbling Rock Bald I was just home a few days then gone again..even so that is no excuse for not even telling what state in the US it's in.
Wishing you the best
Diane
Sail The Seven Seas photo does have it's problems but I needed a boat. It is sitting just off Princess Cay in the Bahamas it's their own private island.
may all your seas be smooth ones
The "Dock" was taken on the nicest day of the whole week. and I did see two large turtles swimming near the dock. my resort was very nice and rather quiet the kids were back in school and the fall foliage hadn't really started yet so fall leaf change watchers hadn't come yet.
Thanks for coming down and looking a the old dock Cornelius
I really wanted a picture of the Inn, it's very impressive and was dismayed when I saw scaffolding all over the building.
So I had to settle for that piece in the garden...but it was sunny and warm that day...thanks for looking at my art object
Thank you Cornelius for your kind words about Blues and Hues. It was fun to try something abit different. Glad you liked it and your comments are much appreciated!

Very much appreciate your nice comment on Dragon Sunset.
Haven't had many good photo ops lately, so just headed back to my old favorite Terragen. Thanks for the nice words my friend.
I've been in the wild around black bears, tarantulas, rattlesnakes, grizzly bears, buffalo, gators, bats, scorpions but never attacked until by aggressive, pushy and very tall white geese with sharp beaks that pecked my ankles so hard they hurt..ha! Thanks
Cornelius

Cornelius glad you like Playa Hermosa in English...Beautiful Beach I'm rather partial to it myself. It is a black sand beach.
It was so cheap during rainy season I had to see Costa Rica for myself...The only mishap I was stung by a jellyfish very badly
