Thank you for your lovely remark about "Happy Birthday Pat! Dinner is my Treat" Cornelius. I am not totally happy with it but I needed a birthday card so up it went. To get the whole fountain I had to take the far right hand side of the building which is very plain plus I noticed someone standing in the doorway....oh well life is not perfect and neither are most photo's. I could read your comment without using a translator. Château Élan is a American creation of a French Chateau and may appear so fake that real Frenchmen might laugh..oh so what if they do...smile

Waterfall in the Springtime was taken from an overlook at the top of the gorge, glad they had a wood fence since you stood right at the edge of a cliff. I try to act like the steep drop doesn't bother me but it does a little. I got about 20 more of these. The waterfall does have a name I just have to look it up.
That Jimbob is something else and very funny.

I'm sure your boat docked in Charlotte Amalie, Magens Bay is over the top of the mountain on the other side. A jitney ride up and over the mountain with all those twisty and narrow roads is an adventure in it's self.

Thank you Cornelius for your very kind comment about "Plowing the Field" The Oconaluftee Mountain Farm Museum. About those horses they are living the easy life. The field is small and just for demonstration purposes. They plant a garden with a variety of vegetables farm folk ate in those days. After plowing the horses spent the rest of the year grazing and rolling in a green grassy pasture
The farm is pretty to visit but living there forget it! No wonder people died so young back then they were worked to death.
Thank you Cornelius for taking a view of Smith Lake, Unicoi is one of Georgia’s most beloved state parks. They have a lodge, campgrounds, picnic tables, swimming area, water craft rentals, thank goodness none with motors. This photo was taken pre season so it was pretty empty.
I smashed my bare toe on my wooden coffee table leg and it hurts like hell and I have been
limping barefoot around the house since wearing shoes really makes it ache, so hiking is out, oh well I've been there plenty of times so it's not like I am going to miss out on anything.

There are 3 bars on "Princess Cay" so take your pick. The photo has it's flaws and that water mark sure doesn't help, do enjoy your day in this lovely tropical Paradise Cornelius and don't miss the Bahamian barbeque on the beach.

Gatlinburg Tennessee" is not always peaceful. In the summer and fall it is a very busy filled with tourists. I usually visit in the winter and early spring when it is quiet. The highest mountain in the picture is named Le Conte. Thanks for your great comment Cornelius!

I'm sure you saw plenty of these desert vistas from last year..I didn't want to burn people out looking at too many rocks and sand hills, but I haven't posted one in ages so it's "Return To The Petrified Forest /Painted Desert" Thanks Cornelius It may appear barren and bleak but I find otherworldy beauty in it. and it sure isn't over run by tourists..

Cornelius,thank you very much for the comments on my latest photos.As for my photo "August sunset (2)",i got a very good result with the settings i used but i could have used other settings too,it can give very good results too.I used an ISO of 100 as it worked fine,there is no noise otherwise i would have used a higher ISO,thank you for your thought.Have a pleasant week.
