I just received another pm from our dear friend, Cindy (Cynlee) she has a long recovery time ahead of her. The doctor has extended her use of antibiotics and she is still having a very hard time just getting around. They will have to work with her to get her spine back in line.
Her husband has been checking in at Caedes and has told her of the lovely dedications that have been posted for her.
We never know when something bad will happen and we just have to fight back and stay strong in mind and determination.
Support of friends, and family can make such a difference. Does not matter if it's online friends or friends around the corner.
Cindy we miss you!
Hi Sandi. Thank you SO much for faving some of my rose photos. I am glad you liked them and the beauty they hold. Thank you too for the support you have always given me. A gem in this tough old world you are! :o)

Hi Sandi. That's fantastic that you got a chance to see the Beatles play live. Wish I could have done that. Thanks for your comments and fav on "Abbey." ~~ John
Hi Sandi, thanks so much for your very nice comments on Walk Out On The Wall...haven't been inside the art gallery myself in a very long time...one of these days.
The Blue Ridge Parkway with it's spectacular mountain and valley vistas, quiet pastoral scenes, sparkling waterfalls and colorful flowers and foliage glad you enjoyed "Riding the Ridge" it's called "America’s Favorite Drive”
where else can you drive over 465 miles without a single stoplight? It's a A+ in my book and I hope someday you can take a leisurely drive the whole way I know you would love it Sandi!

Thanks for your comment on "Mushroom in the Pines" Sandi. I didn't tell you all that the reason I was getting looks from passer by's was that I was trimming the grass in front of it out there with scissors so I could get that shot! Hahaha!!!
Hi Sandi and thanks for the comment on "Resting Sun Over The Grasses of Elfindale." I am pleased that you enquired on my titles. I do spend time on (most of) them. They are my small attempts at poetry and to help convey an extra layer of meaning to anything I may have constructed in the picture.
Thank you very much Sandi for the friendly comments on "Large White on thistle" and "Sunflower in a field".It is not easy to take butterfly photos, they move quite often.Have a good friday and weekend.
Thank you Sandi for your kind comment about the "Tanawha Trail" overlooking the Ridge Ridge mountains The name "Blue Ridge" was given by early American
pioneers due to the blue hue they reflected against the horizon,
it was later discovered the blue coloring was caused by a chemical
compound released naturally by pine trees that causes a hazy
condition that makes the Blue Ridge Mountains appear blue from
a distance."

Yes "Princess Cay" was totally calm that day making for excellent snorkeling. The photo has it's flaws and that water mark sure doesn't help, do enjoy your day Sandi in this lovely tropical Paradise and don't miss the Bahamian barbeque on the beach.
It is quite a shocker isn't it Sandi. Just when you are relaxing in a hammock wearing a bikini you are whisked away to a icy cold snowy mountain top. Better change into a winter coat, hat and gloves quick before you freeze to death. Thank you for faving "Dusting of Snow"
Diane
Thanks, Sandi, for your comment on, "Don't Come Any Closer Buddy". I do not thick he would have hurt me. He was just trying to protect his little flock.
You are only given one life make the most of it for God and others around you.
Gatlinburg has not grown much since it is surrounded by the GSMNP. But boy oh boy they have built up along the roadway enormously. In the summer and fall 20 miles takes 2 hours it's packed with bumper to bumper cars crawling toward the town and Park. So I avoid the area like the plague and visit in the winter and early spring. Thanks for taking a look down on the town Sandi Attending a NASCAR race is something I'd like to do one of these days
The Manor is now the home of the Parkway Craft Center, which features handmade crafts by hundreds of regional artists. Throughout the season, local artists demonstrate crafts such as quilting, embroidery, weaving, pottery, glass-blowing, and woodcarving on the front porch of the Manor. The Green Mile is one of my favorite movies also, but had no clue where this place is in the movie, guess I better watch it again to find out thanks Sandi!
I'm sure you saw plenty of these desert vistas from last year..I didn't want to burn people out looking at too many rocks and sand hills, but I haven't posted one in ages so it's "Return To The Petrified Forest /Painted Desert" Thanks Sandi It may appear barren and bleak but I find otherworldy beauty in it and it sure isn't over run by tourists..
