1st place mesmerized: Marvellous entry in the contest...great color, angle, and love that bird atop the headstone...good luck.
J_E_F: Not sure why there are so few comments for this great image. Great entry, and the colours work for me. There's something about the peace and tranquility of a seaside location, you can imagine the sound of the waves rocking the inhabitants to sleep.
my only alteration would have been to crop out much of that pathway and some of the sky (perhaps a 16 x 9 ratio) - then you'd have both the church and the head stone as strong features.
That would bring out that celtic cross, giving emphasis to the subject. It would then be surrounded by all those lovely stones, sea and sky. That church in the distance is a fantastic focal point on the horizon.
Faved nonetheless.

2nd place Flmngseabass: Congratulations Stacey on this most formidable image!!!!!! I new this would rank high in the contest.A moody and "gavely" inviting image. Both bold and somber at the same time:)

koca: Yes, cold in every way. Nice shot, this time in colors. LOL
J_E_F: There is something certainly evocative about a Dickensian dreary English cemetery. Wonder if Wackford Squeers is buried here?
