2nd place
corngrowth: Mary, to me your very fine image meets the contest goal very well, so a very good entry for the contest.
It's a very special posting too, because the image it's accompanied with a 'surprising' (but for the contest not judge-able) narrative.
Good Luck!
Regards, Cornelius.

FlimBB: Oh yes, congratulations on you placement in the opposites contest. This was a perfect submission. Well done.
4th place Lightpainter: That's interesting. But if the earth is the cube, what is the white sphere? (maybe sun or moon) Galileo and Copernicus would have a problem with this. Good Luck.
tigger3: WTG! this is perfect for the contest, and I expect it will do well.

5th place
gonedigital: Been in the helicopter again hey EJ! it's seldom you see a highway in a wilderness but America is a big place. On a technicality you could enter this photograph into the Opposites competition but I reckon it wouldn't be appreciated there.
The highway is quite an achievement considering it's remote location, thanks for sharing. (o:
