corngrowth: Your image meets everything for the 'Night-topic', so an excellent entry for the contest Doug!
Good Luck my friend!

Regards, Cornelius.

bfrank: I'm glad you had enough light to pull this shot off since you were pressed for time Doug. You were standing head on in harms way. Good job and good luck in the contest. That is a beautiful bridge.

Superb lighting...and was worth getting soaked for!..gives the image so detail and drama!...The moon gives this a fairytale look to it!...

Thanks for this

4th place
A Snowy Night In Northern Ontario by icedancer

luckyshot: Pat - As much as winter is not my favorite time of year, it is captures like this that make me admit it has its beautiful moments. Thad

danika: Beautiful lighting with the snow falling around the lantern lights. Best wishes in the contest, Pat.

5th place
Ocean Life by Mannie3

Nikoneer: Well it might be a touch fuzzy but, heck, for a low-light hand-held, you did a heckuva job, Richard. As has already been said, those bright colors and their reflections make the shot work. The aquarium, moon and the moon's reflection create a nice triangular diagonal, a traditional and strong element. The pano also accentuates the shape of the structure nicely. It wasn't until I enlarged it and started looking around that I spotted the gondolas swinging about the pier (?) on the left. Nice entry and good luck in the contest.
