Nikoneer: That lower chimney that is tilting away from the structure appears to be a material printed with "bricks"... while everything else is in a massive state of dereliction, the edges of the chimney are arrow-straight, with no chipping, and the color of the bricks are consistent. If they were real, they could never be held up merely by a pair of 2x4's sticking out from the side of the house. Appearances tell me the rooftop chimney is made of the same material... tin, maybe? Whatever the case, the more modern additions--the chimneys and the No Trespassing and Private Property signs--don't remove any of the charm; they complement it. That gorgeous landscape behind it doesn't hurt, either.

4th place J_E_F: Reminds me of the scene from the film "Trainspotting"... Good to see you placed Bob.
LynEve: They don't come much more derelict than that !
tigger3: Thank you for the link, I just questioned that a place in such state would be safe for the public to enter, and take pics. I guess things are different across the pond. I still question the availability of entering such a place for pic. taking. It is what it is.
5th place
rvdb: Congrats on your win Laura.

GomekFlorida: It is sad to see so many of these classic structures start to decay. Yet that is the natural selection of things, which isn't bad, just the way it is. I am sure it has served its purpose for many years before reaching this state.
