Nikoneer: Sorry I'm so far behind on my comments and responses - I've been working on part of a 900+ photo project from last summer. Did you happen to catch the "Earth" series of videos by the BBC? The one on the jungle includes a variety of different Birds of Paradise. Graphically, you've certainly captured the essence of the actual bird - very colorful, bright, and lovely.
