1st place
waiting for the train by ro_and

meiamafreak: Congratulations! It's a marvelous shot and well worthy of 1st place!
Have a nice day!

TheWhisperer: Well done Roland for winning the B&W contest. Well deserved! Great piece of work.
Ann

Mannie3: Great shot. Very evocative and good framing. 10/10. Standing in the middle of some tracks is probably a bad place to wait for a train to arrive. But at least we have a photograph to remember them by.... :-)

2nd place
Buoyant by meiamafreak

427cobraAC: I agree with what Sandi said, I really like how you angled the photograph and the DoF. Good luck in the contest.

gollacma: Amazing photo! For me, the use of black & white should be for an artistic, reflective photo of this nature - colour would take away from the dreamlike mood of this image. Added to my faves. Thanks for posting!

susanlynn: Very nice lighting David. I see this as a bookcover on a Mystery - it captures the imagination.

Jimbobedsel: Kinda spooky. I wouldn't want to be there after dark. Very nice B&W.

Jimbob

purmusic: /\ A little cookiemonster told him about this one. ;o)

I love it, too ... and +favs for me, as well. :o)

Really well done, David.

And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us.

p.s. Not an entry into the current contest?

"Think it might just fit ... and fit, rather nicely", he said sticking his neck out.
