Excellent clarity and the topic is perfect for this B&W toning
Flmngseabass: I see I have more competition now!! Excellent post Steve:)
cynlee: A perfect image for the b/w contest. Wonderful motion and detail.
braces received a 1 month membership in the Caedes Cadre.
3rd place icedancer: Oh my goodness Nathan, this is a Magnificent shot of such a touching and loving scene. So happy he returned home safe and sound. This is the Best Entry to the B/W.....Good Luck my friend
SEFA: A very emotional moment captured by you. Itīs a beautiful photo in every way. I am happy for you that he arrived back home safe.
Good luck in the contest!
4th place edoctober: The gray scale treatment seems to add to the age of the building and make the desert location appear even drier. Considering the photo's subject these things work as a plus. On the other hand, in the color version I like how the dark brown branches stand out so well against the medium blue sky. There are always trade-offs, huh?
5th place Joanie: So perfect for the contest Jim! Really cool piece of work and superbly done!
trixxie17: Now that's a bad hair day - but a very cool and creative entry.
cynlee: Sure says a lot without saying very much. A most interesting use of that software. Makes a very different b/w image. Got your thinking cap on. Good luck in the contest, Jimbob!
