gonedigital: This b/w competition sure is popular Steve, I hope yours does well, may the best contestant win.
0930_23: This is a perfect entry for the b/w contest Caruso. Reminds me of the old war movies. Sink The Bismarck and such.

3rd place tigger3: Nathan, this is such a moving capture of your wife and son, you must be very proud of him to serve his country. I think this is a very good entry, and good luck. =^..^=Tigs
J_272004: Wow Nathan that is a very powerful capture, I'm glad you did it in B&W it really makes it even more emotional.. brought tears to my eyes. It's good to see he came home safe. Beautiful shot.. Best of luck in the contest
4th place edoctober: The gray scale treatment seems to add to the age of the building and make the desert location appear even drier. Considering the photo's subject these things work as a plus. On the other hand, in the color version I like how the dark brown branches stand out so well against the medium blue sky. There are always trade-offs, huh?
5th place Logun7: Awesome Jim!! Best of luck to you in the contest:)
icedancer: Wow, Jimbob this is an excellent entry. Good Luck
Ed1958: Tremendous.

koca: Really creative, Jim, I love it, although it's B/W. LOL Good luck, may you be the first Mohican, I mean winner.
