0930_23: This is a perfect entry for the b/w contest Caruso. Reminds me of the old war movies. Sink The Bismarck and such.

3rd place FlimBB: Wow! Congratulations - On the photo and your son ;) Wonderful job.
icedancer: Oh my goodness Nathan, this is a Magnificent shot of such a touching and loving scene. So happy he returned home safe and sound. This is the Best Entry to the B/W.....Good Luck my friend
4th place edoctober: The gray scale treatment seems to add to the age of the building and make the desert location appear even drier. Considering the photo's subject these things work as a plus. On the other hand, in the color version I like how the dark brown branches stand out so well against the medium blue sky. There are always trade-offs, huh?
5th place ovar2008: Fantastic job my friend.
casechaser: Jimbob, congrats on your win!
J_E_F: Gets my vote in the AC!
trixxie17: Now that's a bad hair day - but a very cool and creative entry.
Flmngseabass: I have never been a fan of anything that was manipulated with the Fractalius program but this is as nice a job as I have seen!! Not overdone JB and so you have my vote!!!!!!! Outstanding image:):)
