1st place
A Pile of Pencils by ivanmaniak

dancer3660: this is a really cool idea. Best of luck in the contest. :)

osifa: I am rejoice and I was feeling you will win. Congratulation.

MsCROW: I don't know what LOMO effect is, but I like the originality of this photo. Perhaps some version with the background cropped away would be kind of surreal looking, I don't know. But i like the arrangement and the colors - just a neat little shot of how everyday objects can be interesting subjects.

Dunstickin: Nice work and presentation...BOL in the comp!

rozem061: Fantastic ! Very nice work !
Good luck in the contest !
John

zunazet: Perfect fit for the contest. Lovely shades of blue and purple.

weed_hopper: Interesting! It reminds me of the start of making a map for a game. That's how it looks just before you start creating the layers and the textures. Good Job!

Inside out by slushie

rvdb: Light shadows and the B&W make for a very interresting picture Congrats good work.

Rob

Tootles: There's something about this shot that's of good quality; clear and not oversharpened. It's easy on the eye, as well as drawing your attention to the strength of the structure. The 'best bit' of course is the textured ring, with more rings beyond. Good luck in the contest!

4th place
Bridge Over Untroubled Water by Zyrogerg

PatAndre: This has to be viewed full screen to be appreciated. KEEP-PAH!

rvdb: A very nice capture Congrats on your win.

Rob

luckyshot: Greg - A real nice capture. It looks like you did a little HDR work to bring out details in the sky, foliage, and the subject of the photo - the bridge. The reflections, with colors slightly muted, are excellent. I think the tones of the reflections match well the 'grunge' of the bridge with its worn paint, signs of rust and graffiti. Terrific work!
