Deep in the forest . . . . . . . . by LynEve

Homtail: Ive heard South Island is stunning. New Zealand is one place i am desperate to go. It is like heaven on earth for a geography teacher like myself. Love the green, great entry into the contest. Can almost smell the damp, lush forest :)

3rd place
Edlingham Castle & Viaduct by biffobear

Nikoneer68: Really well done photograph.
Thanks for sharing.

corngrowth: When talking about history, think this is history, Richie. Very interesting. That ancient small graveyard gives an extra dimension to this already wonderful eyebird's view. Have 'Googled' somewhat and have found HERE and HERE some interesting information.

Wonderful post again!

Regards, Cornelius.

4th place
Fishermens Huts by Leahcim_62

danika: The colors contrasts & lighting are magnificent. Best wishes in the contest.

tanimara: Really loved this shot - well done!

purmusic: Great shot.

Love the juxtaposition of the huts against the background of the factory.

Annnnnd.. the fact that their respective colours are ... complimentary. Makes for a rather stark contrast of ... and underscores ... their relative purposes and function.

Thanks for sharing this one with us. :o)

5th place
Down Under by zunazet

cynlee: That's a aterrific closeup, David! I like the angle, the composition, the clarity and colors very much. That sunflower is quite popular.

palral: Congrats, David. Your mind works in wondrous and mysterious ways. Leave it to the other-worldly "zunazet" to present a fabulous spider shot as a winner in the "Green" contest. I can only wait to see your posting in the upcoming spider contest.
