The Fog is Lifting by palral

cynlee: I stopped by, but not to say anything about 'sucking'. I really like this a lot. I like the golden light and the mystery of the trees enshrouded with the fog. No one captures fog like you and it's good to see that you are finally coming out of it.

Thought I had commented on your piece here, as I distinctly remember when you posted it (simply put, and as I am want to say at times.. 'a standout, in and amongst the new images').

And would echo the thoughts and words above me.


Aside from the technical considerations, your image is more about evocation for me.

Strange as this may sound, or not.. get the feeling of comfort and that of being safe as a child, somewhat caught up in the fantasy world of your creation here.

Lots of things to see and investigate, all friendly creatures and a most welcoming and intriguing environment to explore.

Colour palette is great throughout. Good good composition.


Nice to see that you were rewarded in the contest for your creative efforts. Most deserving entry. :o)
