lmass: This is the kind of fog shot I want to capture, but have so far failed. It is moody, warm and a little cool with the cool sky. The reflection in the water is perfect. And you can't get a better RULE OF THIRDS than this image!

Thought I had commented on your piece here, as I distinctly remember when you posted it (simply put, and as I am want to say at times.. 'a standout, in and amongst the new images').

And would echo the thoughts and words above me.


Aside from the technical considerations, your image is more about evocation for me.

Strange as this may sound, or not.. get the feeling of comfort and that of being safe as a child, somewhat caught up in the fantasy world of your creation here.

Lots of things to see and investigate, all friendly creatures and a most welcoming and intriguing environment to explore.

Colour palette is great throughout. Good good composition.


Nice to see that you were rewarded in the contest for your creative efforts. Most deserving entry. :o)
