rvdb: Les thank you for the link and the comment this will be my entry. As for the font I found that really hard some were to skinny to modern etc. so I just went for big and bold thanks again.
Rob
palral: Beautiful work, Rob. I'm not sure how you created the poster "look", but it's very nifty. Wonderful bridge shot as well. Championship level manipulation by the king of manipulation. Perfect choice of colors as well.

Nikoneer: I wasn't wondering about the copyright because the same holds true for images of my state's capitol structure. Whereas many (but not all) of the current entries in this contest have nothing to do with Art Deco, this one certainly does. Even the rays of light pouring forth from the beacon at the top (actually a mooring post for dirigibles, and used at least once for that job) is classic Art Deco styling. In the past I have had an image I wanted to use but the quality wasn't quite there, using filters on it to create a "painting" of it often does the trick. In thumbnail form I wondered about the focus but upon enlargement it makes sense. Good luck in the contest, Sam.

4th place mesmerized: Thanks, Lyn.
Dunstickin: Purfick example of art deco Pat....This is a beauty and worthy of being up there among the winners!...

5th place allisontaylor: I do like it Diane! A fun colorful photo full of energy. I enjoy the perspective as well. I too would like to know where.
palral: That must be the toughest piano in the world to play. But think of the range of tones! From the comments above, I'm confused even more than usual. Some of the comments seem to indicate that this is a photo of a poster. I think that you created the entire scene. It's a beautifully created scene. I have no idea how you did this, but I think it's a winner.
