1st place
Feathers by twinkel

icedancer: Superb capture and entry. Good Luck Els

Marzena: Feels like yesterday when I saw it for the first time...
Lovely, gentle brush like Japanese characters.
SAM & SAAB

sharonva: I for one will be very disappointed if you do not enter this in the contest. It has a quality not seen all that much...the clean and clear lines (pins?) of each feather are...well...clean and clear. The feathery, fuzzy parts are softly feathery and fuzzy. (Sorry for my lack of imagination on my adjectives)! This is very good and should do well in the contest.

2nd place
Wings of the seagull by elektronist

GGFF: Hello Tanju,
Congratulation for this photo. Exceptional moment; perfect water; good focus, compositon, colors. My only critique goes to noise. Little noise reduction program will make this image winner of contest Simplicity.
Good luck & thanks for sharing :)

LakeMichigan: Well done. Great entry for the contest. Good Luck.

4th place
Mirrored Bliss by quaffapint

Nikoneer: A beautiful and calming image, soft yet sharp where it counts, clearly showing us the branches and birdhouse. It doesn't follow the rule of thirds but doing that would have ruined the image, it being necessary to let us see the full tree and its reflection (rules are made to be broken). Into my favorites and thank you.

5th place
A Bud In The Sun by Jimbobedsel

trixxie17: A great entry Jim - simple composition and simple color palette and simply excellent.

0930_23: I think you have the approval of your fans JimboB. Count me in too. Bokeh and clarity go together like peas and carrots.
