billyoneshot: I think this will do very well in the contest. There is beauty in simplicity.

Eubeen: Good focus work in the photo with a lovely blurred background. Nice colours and textures in the bud and stem. A little work could be done on the light levels, on both the high and low ends, if desired. Best of luck in the contest.
