2nd place
Wings of the seagull by elektronist

tigger3: Oh this is a wonderful action capture, very nice. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Nikoneer: I agree... an excellent entry. The bokeh puts all the emphasis on the gull and the face is tack-sharp, allowing the slight blur of the wings to express motion. Best of luck, Tanju.

4th place
Mirrored Bliss by quaffapint

AlatarielIdril: A fine shot, indeed. I agree with purmusic -- great entry for the contest if you so choose. Tranquil. I love the updated, noiseless version. :)

Marzena: For me #1.
SAM & SAAB

Nikoneer: A beautiful and calming image, soft yet sharp where it counts, clearly showing us the branches and birdhouse. It doesn't follow the rule of thirds but doing that would have ruined the image, it being necessary to let us see the full tree and its reflection (rules are made to be broken). Into my favorites and thank you.

5th place
A Bud In The Sun by Jimbobedsel

Eubeen: Good focus work in the photo with a lovely blurred background. Nice colours and textures in the bud and stem. A little work could be done on the light levels, on both the high and low ends, if desired. Best of luck in the contest.
