I've been looking for about 2 hours now...and er, I think I'm looking in the wrong places.

I was thinking of using a D50's histogram to expose properly, then use the same aperature and shutter speed (taking into acount ISO), and use it on B&W film. Can I do this, or because film has a larger range, do i have to compensate(?).
