I have a wide screen monitor (1440 x 900) and I was wondering if there is a consensus on Caedes about what looks better in terms of the "stretch" algorithim for XP, a 1600 x 1200 downscaled but 4:3 aspect ratio or 1200 x 900 upscaled (16:9 aspect ratio)

What do people prefer here, downscaled but skewed by the 4:3 aspect ratio or upscaled but bits the aspect ratio ?
