Sometimes life throws a curve ball at us, and hits us right in the gut. At times like these, it's the greatest blessing in our lives to have friends come to our aid and rescue.
One of our dear friends at Caedes, Katz, is in such a situation. Although I don't know her well, my association with her and all of you have brought joy and pleasure into my life. I'm always impressed at how many good people I meet here. I'd like to help Katz (Sarah), and give you an opportunity as well if you feel you are able and wish to.
Last year, Katz lifted a box at work and the contents shifted and either caused or worsened a back problem - four bulging vertabrae. She has been in pain ever since. Her workplace has been reluctant to provide medical assistance. Sarah has had them in court over this to get them to assist with workers comp, but the company is dragging their feet.
This leaves her without means to remedy the medical situation. She hasn't insurance coverage, and so is having to pay some expensive medical procedures. The injury has limited her ability to work and provide. She has exhausted the help she can get from family, friends, and community.
