I noted that there were 7 pages of images in the "New images -> Photography -> General" gallery today. I can understand that some of these (about 15 images) would be difficult to categorize but most of them were of flowers, architecture, landscapes (one even had the word "landscape in the title :-P) which are easy to place in the correct gallery. The "General" gallery should only be used if you genuinely cannot see another gallery where your photograph belongs. Remember the main reason for this categorization is to help members find what they are looking for, ie to make it easier for people to find YOUR photo...

Another note: If you are uploading a landscape photo, be sure to place it in "Photography -> landscape" and not "Computer -> Landscape" as frequently occurs.
