What do you use as a walkaround lens for hiking/travel/etc?
I was using a Canon 35mm f/2 because it was lightweight (6oz!) and fast, but I found it was not quite wide enough at times on my crop sensor camera.
For Christmas, I got a Tokina 20-35 f/2.8 which should give me that notch more width I wanted but is built like a tank (20ish oz!). I'll be curious to see how it works for me when I have to carry it around all afternoon. Hopefully, it won't be a problem because I've been pleased with the results from it so far.
