I was unable to upload my slice of Americana Oh well no big deal I will try again. Traveled I- 40 that parallels the old historic Route 66 from Oklahoma City to Kingman, AZ. I wish we had more time and could explore and take pictures of all the old relics still standing along the old road. In Texas at the Rest Stop picnic areas all the grills for cooking are shaped like the State of Texas never saw anything like it so of course I had to take a pic. We passed an old ghost town in NM that I would have loved to stop at and look around, in fact while driving by we saw a guy with a pro photography camera taking shots of all the old weathered buildings still standing in a few years there won't be a thing left but since we had to make it to the next hotel by nightfall there wasn't a moment to spare. but it did have it highlights along the way such as the famous Cadillac Ranch outside of Amarillio TX. We stopped got out and walked in a field to see all the half buried cars. It was so flat and windy that day I had to keep away from all the spray paint people were using on the cars or else I would have been covered in the stuff. after 5 years I am sort of tired of Caedes at the moment. I joined in 07 and I was very active for all that time
I don't know if me and my mediocre pictures are missed all that much but I do know I miss all you guys and gals and your excellent works of art. I'd say you are in the tops in my book for best
photographers and most friendly website.
