I know the ranking system was removed pretty long ago, and I'm sure there were many topics discussing that, but I just wanna say that having my images being rated as a number was the entire key factor that drove me to get better at my art. Likewise, the removal of it led me to abandon the effort to keep making wallpapers.

Maybe I was simply making the art for all the wrong reasons, but I'm curious what anyone else thinks.
