Greetings to all. I am new to the site and I love the creativity expressed here. I have read the copyright information and understand the uses permitted of the artwork here. Is it permitted to ask the artist if their artwork could be used for a webpage background with full credit given. I wanted to ask an artist for permission but I did not want to do so if that would be considered improper. I respect the artist claim to their artwork and the rules given and would not want to use any artwork illegaly. Thank you to anyone kind enough to respond.
