Lagurus ovatus (common names hare's-tail grass or bunnytail) is the sole species in the monotypic flowering plant genus Lagurus. It is a member of the grass family Poaceae and native to the Mediterranean coast of southern Europe[1] and naturalised elsewhere. It is also grown as an ornamental plant for its attractive flower panicles
