This picture was taken while riding on the back of an elephant in a Thai jungle. I was on a mission trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand. One of the activities involved taking American children to an elephant camp to ride the elephants. It got a little scary when the elephants were walking down the mountainous slopes after some heavy rains. Sidenote: Many people complain about the treatment of the elephants at these places, but I did not witness any mistreatment.
