I think somebody HAS been trespassing--for the lumber. This old, two-room, elementary township school is representative of too many structures in west-central Illinois, as is the town where I found it, Elmira, which has also been mostly abandoned. As a teacher this shot represents something I hate to see go in education: personal contact between student and teacher.
