Last week I found this place with this view to the bridge. This bridge was designed by Teophile Seyrig, a Belgium engineer disciple of Gustave Eiffel ( the same one that build the Eiffel tower in Paris) in 1886, so was inspired in the design used by Eiffel and in his methods of work. Originaly the two plates are for cars, now the upper plate is for the metropolitan and the other for cars. We have also in O'porto one bridge builded and designed by Gustave Eiffel one of this days I post one photo of that bridge.
