On the foreground the ancient train bridge, now is out of work, the D. Maria Pia Bridge was built by the Gustave Eiffel firm (Eiffel Constructions Métalliques), the inauguration was at 1877 and the bridge was open the train traffic till 1991, date when the St. John Bridge (in Background) was finished and open to the train traffic.
